Black and White Records is a record store with over 35 years of expertise in buying, selling & trading new and second-hand records. We are located in Hakaniemi in the notorious Kallio district of Helsinki. We have good reason to be proud of our selection, which is probably the largest in Finland. In addition to recordings in various formats we stock a selection of protective and maintenance goods for your record collecting & storing needs.

Here you will find new and used LPs, CDs and vinyl singles of every genre. A good reason for a visit is that we stock thousands of albums not yet listed on our web site.

New stuff comes in daily so the latest arrivals bins are worth a regular check. And what we don’t have, we’ll find for you through our network of wholesalers and collectors worldwide.

Our webstore at www.blackandwhite.fi is packed with goodies old and new available for the world to purchase at a reasonable price. And do feel free to ask for any record not listed on our site - we’ll do our damnedest to dig it up for you from the depths of our basement vaults.

Our experts know everything quite a bit about music and are most likely able to answer even the trickiest of questions.

We take part in the ever-growing Record Store Day happening every April, so at least once a year it’s worth queueing to get in at daybreak.

Selling records?

We pay top € for your records, small and large collections are equally welcome. We also do house calls so if hauling your stash over isn’t an option, give us a call / drop us a line.
